Novice Needing Help
I don't have a friend off the top of my head who has installed lifts before. And I definitely don't want to pay the labor fees of a 4x4 shop. Is it really so simple a regular mechanic could do it?
Yes. Any mechanic can do it. But most likely they will charge you book time. I have no idea what it is, probably an hour per corner? That's big bucks.
It's really pretty easy. Just watch the videos, and get a friend to help.... doesn't matter too much if they've never installed a lift before.... this is a good "learn how to work on a car" task.... not too complicated, and a good reason to buy a floor jack, some jack stands, and some basic hand tools, all that you'll be able to use in the future.

My friend had never installed a lift before either. It isn't that hard to do... just a little time consuming. If you watch the Lucky8 videos, it'll walk you through it. Watch them a couple of times, then get out there and just do it. If you can turn a wrench, you can do this.
