O2 sensor wiring issue while dealing with previous owner syndrome(P.O.S.)
04 USA w/SAI Disco II
Gradually fixing stupid stuff done by previous owner. Found an o2 sensor wire bare and causing a code. Wish I'd seen it before spending money on a new sensor. The two black wires(sensor heat I believe, haven't had a chance to get into rave and confirm) have been connected to a single lead back to...well Narnia for all I know. Will find it this weekend. So my question is; has anyone ever seen that done before, where those wires get tied together? Is that a thing?
By the way...happy too be back after a few years away when I had to sell my last rover. Looking forward to more discussion.
