While I can't speak for the other forums, from what I've seen on here, yes, I agree Julian has badmouthed some suppliers. I believe that most people know that some of those accusations were unfounded, especially because of the unwavering support for most suppliers by the members on this forum and others. All I'm saying is at this point, reprimanding him is just beating a dead dog. In my mind, these forums are about helping others with a common passion. I'd give the man a hand up in time of need, even if it is self-inflicted.
Just my 2 cents, please carry on. I hope Julian can get this resolved, in whatever way possible.

Ok, I looked at my service manual, correct me if I'm wrong, I really want to know the cause of this failure...
The oil pump picks up oil from the sump (suction).
It then goes to the oil cooler if equipped. (pressure)
Then to the oil filter. (pressure)
Then to passages in the engine. (pressure) Drops back into oil pan, cycle starts over.
15w-40 Rotella T. In NH in winter.
Was oil too thick to circulate through filter and system?
OverRover was onto something with warm engine/cold filter test.

I did clean the pickup tube and ran running water threw it, poured out the other side no problem. So it does not appear to be clogged. Nothing dark or otherwise nasty came out.
