If you didn't swap the ECU, you may need to take it to the dealer to have it set. Sometimes when replacing the TPS or stepper, it needs to be read by a scanner before the value is corrected. YOu can try replacing the steeper with your old one first if you want..

Ok, thanks. I will try and replace it with the original stepper and see what happens.

Remember, your ECU thinks the engine still has 80k (or whatever your old one had on it) so it is running the 34k engine off of the 80k mapping.

Thanks Spike. That is one thing I never thought about. I'll run it to the dealer this week and see if that takes care of the issue. I'll let everyone know how much that runs me.

I will get my surging cruise control issue fixed at the same time.

sounds like a tps to me... just needs to be hooked up to a computer. I would throw your old throttle assembly in just in case they want to swap parts.
