Oil pan nut stripped.. HELP!
I am in the process of replacing the Oil Pan gasket. Seems I am at a hault, one of the nut threads is stripped located in the front of the pan. The nut is in tact and all it does is spin. I have tried using liquid wrench, heating the nut, as well as using vicescrips to pull as I turn the nut. With no result, any suggestions on how to remove this?

If the nut head is intact and just spins, the threads are stripped inside the whole. You should be able to clamp a small vice grip on the head and pull downward as you turn counterclockwiase and it should come out.
Once extracted you may be able "chase the hole" with a tap. Examine the bolt and see if the threads on the bolt are stripped. If they are it's possible that the threads in the motor are in tact. You may be able to get by without retapping the hole. You dont have to torque these kind of bolts real tight they are not like head or wheel lug bolts. I have stripped out a lot of oil pan and water pump bolts over the years. Usually, you can even get by not installing a bolt or two. I have a BMW that had a broken transmission pan screw, I just left it out and it never leaked.
If you do have to retap the hole. Get some quick setting JB Weld and put it on a tooth pick and smear it inside the stripped out hole. Let it cure for an hour and then retap the hole that way you will have more material for the tap to cut. Once the new bolt is in you dont have to really torque it to spec just snug it up and see if it holds.
