Default oil pressure shenanigans

Finally got the gauge on the A pillar working and will get some pics up but first I think I might have some issue.

Cold-
Idle - 51psi
2k rpm - 57psi

Warm
Idle - 27psi but occasionally drops to 23-26ish and makes strange noise (maybe oil pump is dying?)
2k rpm - 50

You may want to talk to whoever you bought the gauge from and let them know it is reading high, can it be recalibrated.
Idle pressure are around 40's cold and 10 to 12 when hot.0

Really? I have almost identical readings:

Cold 45 PSI - 2k rpm 52 PSI
Hot 28 PSI - 2k rpm 52 PSI

idle would have to be above 7 or oil light would be lit....

At cold, the idle PSI is high because the bypass valve in filter is activated and shunting the filter media. Would be close to same value as 2500 rpm cold.

My values a year ago were :

44 PSI cold (45 F) idle or 2500 rpm

42 PSI warm (175 F) - 2500 rpm

24 PSI warm (175 F) - 700 rpm

(97 D1, but D2 spec is 50 PSI)
