Based on that number/width I can determine which bearings might be needed for each journal, right?

to do it correctly no, you would find the worst one and have the crank turned to that size and use all the same size bearing.

what are you going to do about the tty rod bolts? since they have already been TTY are you going to replace them? or are you going to reuse them?

this is where the whole can of worms start , where to start and where to end.

I suppose you could put different size new bearings on the old crank and put i back together using the old tty bolts and hope for the best.

Just put new std. size bearings in and reuse bolts. Everything will be fine. But with oil pressure that low, I would look at the cam bearings to see if one is has walked out. (I have seen 1 cam bearing walk out. The cam chewed it up as it walked out.)

Spoke with the very helpful local indie specialist, they suggested a walked cam bearing as well. Hoping I can deal with it painlessly from the bottom end.

Default Culprit: camshaft bearing

So I finally got the oil pan off. Kind of a chore! Sure enough, second to last camshaft bearing has worked its way out. So it looks like I'll be pulling the camshaft next week and fitting new bearings. Anyone got any brilliant alternatives?

Nope. Get the "finished" bearings from AB. Did the cam chew up the bearing?

I haven't gotten a good enough look at it to tell yet. I could just barely see it from below, but it didn't look to have come out that far. So I'm going to be pulling the intake off next and we will see...
