OME Setup - Opinions on Spring Combination
After letting my 2000 go away, I'm back in the gang after getting an 2003 D2. Just got new 245/16's, now looking for towards the lift. I am leaning toward OME 2779's for the front and 2781 spring for the back. I will be adding sliders and a winch eventually. Currently have safari rack and LR brush bar. Looking for feedback on the spring combination and also on how she will offroad until I get the winch and sliders added. Will it be WAY too stiff? I was also planning on the sport shocks. Thanks in advance for the feedback. Great to be back in the Disco gang!!
And I know I should have gotten a CDL. lol I will be adding it to my 03.
Cheers

If running 779's in the front, consider 762's in the rear for a more balance ride and a more level vehicle.
Are you going to be running the OME Sport Shocks also.
And yes, it will be firmer then you are used to compared to your warn out suspension, but one you get it loaded down with your mods, you will love it.
Don't forget a new steering stabilizer also.

The previous owner of my truck put OME 751's on the front. Very, very stiff and skittish on the road. I was going to wait until my ARB winch bumper shows up to change them out, but might order the 779's now. I'm also installing a roof top tent on my disco. Would you guys recommend 762's or 762's on the rear ?
