Default One nugget for mass airflow sensor replacement..

Ordered a MAF sensor from auto zone for about $135 if i remember correctly. Said it fit my 04 disco hse7. The only part nbr they had. The body was actually bigger than mine by 5-6mm. I was able to take the sensor off new body and fit it to my old smaller body. Same part number for sensor itself. Has type of antitamper torx type screw, i was able to remove the 2 screws with a (15 ?) torx driver with lots of side pressure..Plug right in and fired right up. Saved $500 over dealer part....Hope this helps someone...Put the wrong thread starter for throttle body..dont know how to chang it...this was MAF.....

You can buy those anti tamper torx bits from the tool trucks (not sure where else but that's where I got mine)

You would be better off buying the correct MAF from British Parts of Utah for around $146 and having matching part numbers and no potential for other MAF related codes, right out of the box with after market or generic parts.
