Buzz / Mike;

The mechanic called, said nothing was loose, off or crimped in there with the injectors. He is putting it all back together now to see if it will clear the code.

Any ideas? I'm getting frustrated now as my wife doesnt have her car.

Before putting it back together, he should do some actual mechanic work... like testing the wires at the injector.... perhaps replacing the injector or swapping it with another.

What did the mechanic do to fix it?
If nothing and your fingers are crossed - well, whatever is loose will keep being loose.

Maybe the intake manifold was just not on good.

Sorry guys! I've had the discovery back about 10 days now and been keeping an eye on the coolant - guess what, it's still pissing coolant onto the drive way. Thank goodnes my wife doesnt use it regularly.

If it's leaking out, it cant be the head gaskets, can it?

If I'm standing at the front of the vehicle, looking at the engine, it seems to be leaking at the back down onto the axle. Does that make sense? Are there any hoses back there?

What else can it be?

Set to go back to the mechanic next friday.

it could the the rear of the head gaskets, it could be a freeze plug. I would suggest you preasure test the system to find the leak. Borrow or rent a preasure tester and get yourself a good flashlight and inspection mirror.
