It's not the Plus 4's, you missed something, what wires did you use and did you go and recheck the connections at the coils?

I went with the BWD SuperMag 7mm (CH7880) wire set. Wires all snapped in tight at the coils.

I agree with DiscoMike, it is not the plus4s...I've been running them for two years with no problems as all...Curiously, why didn't you go with an 8mm wire set? These engines VERY hot and really need the extra installation.

fuel pump? doubt its the o2, as mine is bad. It came up as not enough fuel bank one, that was the code My mechenic got.All the other codes could of came up as these where probs in the past that didnt get cleared out of the history. (E 3 spark plugs are beyond great, well worth the money ) more HP, better mph and a smoother ride I have them in all my cars!!!

I talked with a Rover specialist shop yesterday who I have dealt with in the past on other issues (with great success) and he recommended upgrading the plugs and wires. He seemed sincerely non-biased; that the Bosch Plat+4 work great on some vehicles but do not have a good history with the 99-04 Disco. I guess his shop has replaced many in the past and they have many years of experience solving my exact situation.

He recommended the Champion NLP100320's and STI wires from Atlantic British. He said that if this isn't my easy fix than the ignition coils most likely need replaced. After I swap the wires/plugs it is going into his shop for a once-over diagnostic and hopefully a clean bill of health.

Fingers and eye's crossed

I am having a similar situation. I am throwing a P1300 code with multiple misfires. I am also throwing a P0152 (O2 sensor) code. I have changed all of the spark plugs and all of the O2 sensors. Can the o2 sensor be causing the misfires? Can anybody offer some help?
