Parking brake light remains on - 02 Disco II

If it still shows a lit brake light, check the brake level float sensor. They are known to lose buoyancy and trigger the warning light, despite being full of fluid.

You can always turn the brake fluid sensor upside down to check the light.

I will check the float in the morning. It looked "normal" when I first checked it. Once I get the scanner and can delete the DTC's I'll see what the results show.

OK, finally received the sensor and installed it. I purchased an Autel scanner and ........ my three amigos have left the Disco! Thank you for all input and ideas - great knowledge base. And, I know more about this machine now. Until next time........
