Default Pass door wont lock/unlock

Hi guys, I have a problem with my passenger side door. It wont seem to lock/unlock with the key fob or the centralize switch. I hear something clicking but the only way I can open is by pulling the lever from the inside. Can anyone tell me whats wrong or have any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem with my rear driver's side door. It's most likely the door lock actuator.

You have to change the whole unit.

I have a left rear door that is that way when it is cold, usually takes 2 or 3 tries then works fine for the rest of the day. When you can hear them but they just won't unlock, then it is time to replace the lock actuators, which you can buy used for around $50 instead of new thru the dealer

I have the same problem with my right rear. Heard somewhere you can use re-pack the actuator with a petroleum jelly (vaseline). That was the suggestion to prime my oil pump after the timing cover repair.

Guess Rovers like vaseline...the dealership always seems to be out!!!
