Pass/Front Door Lock Problem
Hey there. I have been a loyal Jeep owner for years and I have made the move up to a 99 LR Discovery II. I love it. It drives so well and is so comfortable (and to think that if I want it can take it about everywhere my Jeep can go! Ok Ok... I am going to get too excited and pass out).
The passenger side front door lock will not work with the Key FOB, Power Lock Switch, or by Pulling up on it to unlock.
It will open while locked if you pull the door handle from the inside.
At first I thought the actuator unit inside ( http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/FQJ102900G.cfm )
but now I am not sure since I realized I can't pull up on the unit either.
Is it the actuator?
Thanks and hello to everyone here!

I think you have found your own problem. probably should pull the door panel down and inspect everything including probing the power lead to the lock to make sure you are getting power to the lock.

Once inside the door panel you should see it pretty easily.
Remember use the test probe when you are tryin to lock or unlock cause that is the only time power will go to the lock.
