Bought a 2001 disco, key fob buttons are bad.
Disco's drive side unlocks and locks car, but it will not lock or unlock the three passenger doors.




the rear door locks an unlocks when drivers does.
The key will set alarm when locking from the door.


Is there a Fuse or connection I need to check.


I have looked at other threads but not finding an answer.

This drives me crazy too lol mine is the driver door. Everything but that one locks with the fob. Sometimes it works, sometimes not

Here is what I know... it's not always the actuator. If you can lock/unlock it from the switch inside, it's definitely not the actuator. The lock would need adjusted a bit and it would work.

If they don't unlock at all, it's the actuator.

 

yeah the inside does not lock or unlock them. time to look in to repairing those

I just saw this post. I have the same issue with both front doors actuators.

I was just reading about Superlocking in the OM today. Maybe something is stuck in this mode preventing the passenger doors from unlocking or opening?

 

Probably actuators.
Replace one in one of the non-working doors.
See if that fixes that door.

Problem is - there are 5 doors.
and these are about $250 each new
