Phantom door unlocking!!
Page 22 of 126 in the circuits manual for the 2000 D2 (another manual for later D2) shows receiver, with two earth wires (black) going to header C0707 on pins 7 & 2. Page attached.
On the 2003 up schematic you are correct, no grounds at that point.
If receiver is going wonky that would be one thing. Once you get into swapping out electronic modules (like BCM) price jumps up quickly.

So disconnecting pins 7 and 2 from header 707 should deactivate the receiver?
So far I've removed/disconnected the following...
Alarm RF receiver
Door lock fuse, turn signal relays, fuse 14 (IDM)
Disconnected door lock actuators
Left above unhooked- Still have a click at the passenger fuse box.
ANY suggestions??

Replaced BCU ECU and instrument cluster (all used) as a matched set. Alarm disarming/unlocking problem is resolved. Also, working again are power mirrors, moonroofs, wipers... sure I forgot something!
Thanks for all the help along the way.
