Poor Mans 8$ CAI... Another Crappy How To
#51
Ok, spencer here by the way..
This is an old *** thread what was I at the time, 19? For people that can't seem to read and, yes it lowered the intake temperature drastically, as from 150* to whatever the outside air was. Did it make a difference? No your driving a fricken brick. And CAIs don't do squat. And who the hell would drive through deep water with this. I love how y'all pretend to encounter 4 foot water crossings daily.
I have since owned...
Lr3
98 P38
03 disco
01 p38 (still own)
I built custom bumpers for the last two.
Also I don't bother getting decent gas mileage from my SUVs anymore, I own a 2012 VW TDI which I average 55 mpg
K thanks bye

good to hear your comments on the subject. 19 or not, i for one appreciate any mods or attempts at improvement, posted on here. some work, some don't, so what. that's how we learn. plus, everything has to have a starting point. and agreed on the water crossing. if people are accidentally and suddenly encountering 4' water crossings, on there normal day to day , they need to invest in a gps..........even before they start on mikes maintenance list.
