Default Power steering pump or box

Trying to determine what my problem is:

Info: disco2 2000 v8

On recent frigid night I (like many) developed a loud whine and trouble steering. Refilled my low ps fluid with Lucas which quickly leaked out and did nothing.

I dug in a bit and it appears the larger hose on left inlet of PAS steering is possibly leaking at the PAS pump.

I can also hear a whine when going straight, nothing in comparison to turning. I've got some pics ill try to add.

Next step?
Remove PAS PUMP?

Thx in advance,
Joe

IF you run the pump out of fluid - you'll maybe burn out the PS pump.
You need to get those hoses replaced.
Replace the fat return hose.

The high pressure hose - if that fails, you'll lose fluid in seconds.

I would not drive it with low PS fluid.
Keep some in the back as you'll need a bunch of it until you get this resolved.
