I purchased an eTrailer kit for my "03 Disco SE and am getting ready to install. The instructions say to run the power wire to the battery. I have two questions about this. One, is there a source closer to the rear end for power to the module? and, two, if I have to run the wiring all the way to the front, which is the best/easiest routing of the wire? If you're looking for a 4-wire setup the Atlantic British box is the way to go. Plug-and-play. Yeah, it's a hundred bucks or so, but totally hassle-free.

 

Okay, to clear up a couple things; a PO removed the original wiring harness with the module then the same/different PO put in a different wiring system then the same/different PO took that wiring system out and left me with stubby added wiring and no module. I have already purchased the eTrailer kit that has the wiring and a new module to control, I assume, the voltage to the tow lights. What I need now is the best routing of the power supply wire from the module to the battery/fuse box. I will be taking the headliner out, sooner or later, to replace and if that is a good route then I could finish two issues with a half day of work. So, suggestions on routing the power feed? Under the vehicle? Through the headliner? Somewhere else? Thanks again for previous replies.
