Thanks for the switch info Urban Panzer. I was looking it up in the RAVE manual last night andnoticed the importance of that info too.

I got the 2 Lucars connected to the switch, put the ignition in position 2, tested thediff lockwithand saw the CDL light come on. The truck wasmoved to park in the street where I was going to take a picture of the CDL light, only to find the light doesn't turn on now. I've tried locking it before turning the iginition on and after and it just won't come on anymore. I didn't try to swap the connections because it is getting dark, but I'm curious if they go on certain sides of the switch. The RAVE says to just "Connect Lucars to switch", so I assume it doesn't matter. Is there a fuse for this light? When starting it appears all the dash lights are turning on for the system check, except the CDL of course.

I couldn't wait until the morning, so after getting home I took another look at the switch. Right, the switch works on a ground so that's why it shouldn't matter about where the wires connect (both are black). I think the connections on the switch were a little more corroded than I thought, even though a wire brush was used to clean the terminals. I just slid the connectors up and down a few times and checked the CDL again. It seems works just fine now.

Well it appears my switch is totally dead now and the dash CDL light isn't coming on at all. [:@] I tested it today and no light. I've gone under again and used a wire brush and re-connected multiple times but nothing is happening. Is this a part I'm likely to get out of another t-case, or are there specific part numbers to order new? I would need the differential warning lamp switch & threaded spacer. Thanks for any help on this one.

Hi

This is EXACTLY what happened to mine, it worked when initially installed, it then was intermittent, so I took it out to clean it up and it fell apart basically. So in the end had to get a new one.

It just dies from just 7 years of no use.
Switch part number PRC2911 , you say you need the washer aswell? you have already got one of these ?

I do believe it is VERY similar to reverse light switches fitted on the Disco and "Other" cars, but cannot confirm that 100%

Ahh, I had the Microcat but didn't think it was something I'd need or use. Looks like I was wrong. I do have the threaded spacer, but wasn't sure if they'd both need to be replaced. I'll call the stealer and see about getting one from them. Thanks again Urban Panzer!!
