I bought one of those about a year ago and the nipple was cracked off and rattling around in the box upon delivery.

That sucks, I've bought like 5 of them, and used 2 on my personal D1's with no problems. First one was packed really well in bubble wrap. Second one wasn't but zero damage or issues. I got an OEM D2 reservoir busted up in shipping and I contacted the seller ASAP. They sent me 2 lol and actually said well here is two and we hope at least one makes it which they both did lol.

Well apparently this was also broken. It was halfway open when I first saw it, and then completely ripped off with just the slightest amount of force. Gosh what a fail of an expansion tank.

No, it’s the old one. Just like… not only did the original crack happen, but apparently the nipple decided to give up at the same time too. Such a fail lol.

The difference between the two is interesting. Really prefer the new clearer Behr one to the old L8 opaque ones. Interested to see how long it stays that clear for.
