Purge Valve/MAF swap question
Been dealing with a slight fuel smell and P0450 code for a few weeks and took it to my indy who told me that whenever you swap out a new MAF or Purge Valve part (which I did), the car's computer needs to be "recalibrated" with a software update form LR. He's telling me its $89 for the software update...
I've never heard of this, but wanted to get a second opinion
Thanks guys!

I got the code for the purge valve first- swapped it out and then a few days later noticed the smell...I DID use the Hyundai compatible part ($30 compared to $100) then cleared the code only to have it come back- I am going to change out my gas cap next (original) FWIW...
