hey guys, my disco currently is sitting with a dead battery, its an 03 model. can anyone tell me how to properly jump it without it going into "superlock" mode? i have heard horror stories about bringing these things back to life from a dead battery. such as the whole truck going into lock down because it "thinks" its been stolen. i want to make sure this is done right so i dont end up at the dealer getting the ECU reset. any input would be greatly appreciated!

 

Put the red one on positive and the black one on negative.

I have probably jumped 250 discos, and have never had a problem (using a jump box). Just have your key handy, if the alarm starts going off, press unlock on your keyfob.

 

That's way more than Evil Knievel ever did.

 

Damn straight!! Lol- I used to be a lot boy/detailer for 5.5 years at a LR dealer :-)
