Default Question on electrical issue

This morning my wipers and windows wouldn't work. Also noticed that the gear selector light showed Park while I was in Drive. I shut it off and restarted and all was good.

As I thought this might be indicative of a failing switch or something, was wondering if anybody had experienced this.

Sounds like your XYZ switch is having issues. Some people have successfully cleaned them and had them start working again.

Clean the battery terminals and make sure that they are tight. Loose/dirty battery terminals can cause the issues you have.

It could also be a bad battery. If it is 3 or 4 years old, It's probably time for a new one.

At over $125 for a good Group 34 battery you should have it tested before just replacing. If the battery is failing inside of the warranty period you may have some pro-rated cash coming your way towards the replacement if you decide to go with the same brand.

Pepboys gave me $15 for a 4 year old AAA battery when I bought one of their BOSCH batteries.
