I intalled my CDL in my disco 2 and it works perfect except I get no diff light on my dash. I did get the light when I tested the CDL on initial install before I buttoned everything back together. I don't have any other lights on my dash when I engage diff lock. Anyone have a clue why the diff light doesn't illuminate?

 

If you move the CDL over to be engaged and the light doesn't illuminate are you sitting still? On my D2 sometimes you have to move forward a bit and the light will come on or off depending on being engaged/disengaged.

 

Nope. I engage and then I'll drive forward or in reverse a little. But when I was initially installing it and checking the hi lo lever alignment and CDL the red diff light would come on. Now it doesn't, of course when everything is all buttoned back up.
