Default Quick dumb question (warning chimes?)

Are there door open or hood open warning chimes at all? I ask because I figured the switch for the hood on the drivers side of the engine bay would serve the purpose of giving a warning if the hood was not shut all the way. But I've never heard one. I've moved around at slow speeds with it open, never above a few mph. I do get the chimes for abs and leaving headlights on though.

So is there supposed to be warning chimes for hood and doors being open or nah?

There is a door chime if any doors are open and the key is in the switch, as well as seat belt and start up chimes...but I turned them all off individually with a Nanocom.
No open hood chime that I am aware of(I have an 04)

I think the switch under the hood is related to the alarm - no alarm chimes on my 01.

Makes sense for it being for the alarm, I didn't think about that. I haven't noticed the seat belt one but I'm usually not one to drive without seatbelt anyway lol.

I love the lack of a seat belt chime.

Eh ... would be nice, but by the time the thermometer red light comes on. you're already toast. Ultragauge has a configurable alert for coolant temp that can trigger at a configurable level - this is a better solution.

Nah, Nanocom basically only gives you on/off and test options of what's already there.
