+1 on the soft spring t/stat. just done mine and it's dropped the temp by at least 6-8 degrees. I went for the motorad one rather than the Brit part (also knoiw as s**t part) as I do not trust brit part. I have faliures with there products in the past.

Did this one too! Seems to have worked great now that I got all the air out of the system. No more over heating.
