Default re aline steering

new to the forum! hello: ive just bough a land rover discovery es for some unknown reason the steering wheel seems to be out of line, wether it has been removed before im not sure, is it possible to take the air bag and steering wheel off and re-aline the steering with the wheels, what would be the best option, thanks

Check the bar that connects from the steering box to the passenger tire. If it is bent, replace it. It is the drag link. If it is not bent, you can loosen the end link clamps and turn the bar. It has a RH thread and LH thread ball joint on each end. If you turn it one way, it will expand, and contract the other way. This is how you align your steering wheel.

Check all of your ball joints while you are under there and chack that your pitman arm is tight.

Does the truck pull? I would take it to a good alignment shop, not the dealer but one who knows how to set the toe setting and then reset the steering wheel.
