Well the part is like $.50, the rest is labor. They have to remove the transmission from the truck.

DIFFICULT TRAIL TO FOLLOW. I SEE ONE SPOT OVERNIGHT 1/4 INCH IN DIAMETER.
SWITCHED TO FULL SYNTHETIC 6 K AGO.

There are a few things that will leak oil and look like a rear main seal, either valve cover, the head gaskets, the vally pan gasket and the rear main.
I wouls suggest you power scrub your engine so you can see what is leaking before you jump into a major repair.

That leak is so small I wouldnt worry about it right now.
Wait until it leaves a big stain in the driveway.

i think he was talking about power scrubbing the engine and stuff to be able to see for sure where the leak is comin from... which is a really good idea... a couple weeks ago i though my front crankshaft seal was leakin really bad... well after cleanin the engine to the best of my ability i discovered it was my oil pressure switch leaking instead, so u may be happily surprised to find that the leak is really nothing... but you will never know for sure with a decade of road grime all over your engine...
