Have a 2000 disco that I keep mint. Bought in knew. Having a issue with my drivers rear window. I have replaced window regulators before. But in this issue the window simply does not go up or down. Motor not working. Never use the rear windows. I have been told that the motor may just need to be taken out tapped on and run. Might be stuck from lack of use. Im told this is a common issue. I have checked the fuse it is fine. Any suggestions. Thank You.

Prolly the motor. To be sure Check that it is not the switch, then check for power at motor.

 

Do you have kids that ride in that seat? Kids will sometimes hold the window button up for no reason and burn the motor up.
