Rebuilt Salvage 03'?
Spike,
What about more of an intial investment on the "beater" car. Say $1500, My thought was diesel prices must hold more steady from fluctuation than unleaded. Because truckers must use diesel in order to ship goods. Sure it will rise in price but it must be refined differently or less refined. So what about an older style diesel Mercies. I know there is particular model they use in Africa. It must get 30mpg or better. I dont know all the Mercies models, but I know they are good reliable cars. I was thinking 1995 so you could at least have an air bag. When gas hits over $4 like back in 2007 when I first bought my Discovery. I will be riding my bike 5 days a week, better for the enviroment and my waist line. Luckily I work from home!
