I'm probably going to go this route, I wanted to reasearch my options a bit first. A family friend has a lift and I wanted to get the Rover healthy enough to drive there so I can use the lift and replace all the brake pipes. I basically blew the rear pipes attempting an italian tune up. This bar cost $65 shipped off amazon, I'm very surprised it isn;t total trash.

RTE does front and rear. Give Simon a call he can get you squared away. The TF have been known to fail off road. The RTE are heavy and way over built but you will not break them. He can do 3 or 6 degrees on the arms as well.

I just got the tie rod bar on and it looks great.

I decided to test out some abrasives on the frame to strip the rust and paint. My frame is in very good shape overall, but has some ugly scaling in areas. I think I’m going to strip it to bare metal, and POR-15 it. This little purple thingy stripped rust and paint instantly, I’ll likely go with this for most of the frame and a sand blaster for smaller areas. I love the sand blaster but I live in a city, I don’t really want to unleash a sandstorm on the neighborhood so I’ll limit the blasting.

I’m going to swap out this tire, throw some old plates on and go for a spin around the block. This will be the first time it’s left the driveway since I started working on it. The front driver side spring is broken in two places, and the rear brake line is leaking, so this will be a short cruise.

Took the disco for a spin. Other than the brakes being total ****, she runs just perfect.

I took a break while some parts came in. Went to mjl1987’s house and grilled some seafood for the bros. It was outstanding.

After I recovered from alcohol poising I made breakfast the next day.

Wow, just seeing this thread. I really wish I had the skills some of you guys have. I would be buying vehicles left and right and fixing them up. I guess that would get to be a problem, I would run out of space fast!
