Default Removing Catalytic Converters?

4.0 Bosch engines. 2000 D2 and also a 1999 p38. Anyone have any experience with running without the Catalytic Converters on the trucks? Anyone sold theirs before? If so, where and how much did they bring?

Without cats, get ready for it to stall at stops like crazy. You will only make this mistake once.

Why do you think it will stall? I understand it may use more gas without them, but if an o2 sensor fails on a disco it doesn't make the truck stall.

That's literally one of the more stupid things I've heard in a while. No car will "stall at stops" just because you remove the cats. Maybe someone needs to be a little more mechanically inclined before trying to give advice.

On another note, you won't notice much difference with or without them. I've been running catless for about five years now ever since I put headers on my Disco and redid the entire exhaust system to go along with it.

Only drawback is you might throw a o2 sensor code from time to time, not an issue if you have a Scangauge tool or trick the rear o2 sensors to read correctly.

I sold mine for scrap, $60 each. You can put some long 90 degree spacers in the rear O2 and be good to go, you can find them on eBay. It's an m18x1.5 I believe.

Sure! This one here would work. Typically just the longest one you can find is best, but this one looks good.
