Default Rotor question

I looked at past brake question and couldn't find an answer so i'll ask it here. I am getting ready to do rotors and pads on my 2002 disco II, I am going with akebono pads and drilled and slotted rotors from Lucky8. How are the rotors are they a good choice?

Thanks
Michael

like everything else it all depends upon the brand, which ever brand you buy make sure they are zinc or cadium plated not bare steel. Bare steel will flash rust whenever the truck is sitting for any length of time.

Great pad selection, as for the rotors, DBA rotors are by far the best, I have around 103,000 miles on mine. Stay away from any of the cheap knock offs as well as the EBC rotors which do not dissipate brake gas as the gold DBA's do. Might also look at the slotted and drilled rotors that British Parts of Utah sells from the UK, I have heard good thing about them.
