Default SAI Pipe Replacement

Hi All,

I've read the RAVE, just curious if anyone has any tips in terms of removing the ****ty copper SAI pipe? Mine is cracked and needs to be replaced. I tried reaching with a wrench but the nuts are in an awkward location.

Thanks in advance!

I used liquid wrench and a shorty adjustable wrench. There is not great way to remove them, thats why they break so easily. I have both pipes for sale on eBay if you need them.

I replaced them with yellow natural gas pipe line....No just kidding. I parted out a 2004 back in early April. I have some parts left over from the Discovery still.

But that natural gas pipe line has the same end coupling if your in a pinch till you can afford to buy a new one it works. I broke my passenger side when removing the plenum for spark plugs.

bang it with a chisel till it loosens up and starts to turn. or use an impact wrench.

I cut the old copper piping, unscrewed the stupid thing, then put the new one back in it's place.
