If you have the jump seats and they squeak, here is your fix. It has been driving me nuts for years. Take the black triangle on the top of the seat off, when it is folded up, there is a single Philips head screw. Cut a thin piece of flexible, wrapping foam to a triangle that fits underneath the plastic cover and screw it back together. Silence. Simple. Amazing. Quiet.

I have lubed every joint and contact point on these seats, this is the only thing that worked.

I just looked at the jump seats in my truck and I don't see a black triangle. But, the mod in the pic keeps them from squeaking or rattling for me.

 

This is the piece remove it, put some sort of padding, i used thin foam, a bit of silicon spray and now there is no rattle or squeak.

 

Ah, now I understand. In my '99 that piece is beige, not black. I'd call it a hinge cover.
