Series II with 18's. Max Tire Size?
265/65/18 is what I am running, though I do have a 2" lift. I've heard of people fitting 26/65/18 to stock trucks without a lift, but I would be concerned with articulation and rubbing.
Check out the Hankook DynaPro RF10 AT/M tires, they're inexpensive and I love them!

Im also on 265/65 18" (BFG ATs KO) no lift. Never had rubbing issues when doing full lock manoeuvres on the flat, not noticed any rubbing when articulated either. But I have yet to see how they fit when the axel is up on the bump stop and fully locked...
I too run 255/60-18 and am very happy with them. I wouldn't want to go any larger without a lift. You will also have to consider what it does with your gearing and gas mileage. Just going up an inch larger diameter (from 29 to 30") made mine noticabley more sluggish when it's in top gear.
Nothing larger than a 265/65R18 is going to fit without a lift. I've run 255/70R18, and 275/65R18 with 2/3inch lifts and they look extremely nice on the Hurricane, Proline, or even the Comet wheels.
I had em on my Silverado, I'm getting them on the Disco before winter. I can not speak highly enough about them. Traction is great in all conditions, tread wear seems spectacular, road noise is significantly less than BFG ATs, and the price is right. 10/10 would recommend.
I had them in 8" of mud in 2wd without getting stuck, pulled a u-haul trailer at 50 with 3-4" of standing snow on the highway, I've run them across standing water at 45 going into a curve. Seriously awesome tires.
