I've had my disco 2 for a couple months now. I've changed the oil regularly and replaced the oil pan gasket and the oil filter gasket. For some reason there is a small oil leak where the oil pan meets the transmission I believe. There is a small circular plate with three 8mm bolts on it and after every time I drive it there is always three little droplets of oil on the tips of the bolts and covering the oil pan from blowing around (I assume). They may be stripped but I really hope not.

 

have you checked the back of the valve covers yet? they tend to leak down the back of the engine.
if the oil is coming from inside that cover you have a leaking rear main seal
