Hi Everyone. I did most of Mike's recomended 60K service today and have a few questions.

1. I syphoned out the PS fluid and filled back up with new synthetic. Drove around and syphoned out again. I put in half the Lucas additive because it would have filled the entire tank. I used Lucas Stop Leak additive....I take it it wasn't the right stuff.

2. I bought Prestone Dex-Cool 50/50 coolant. Is this the right stuff to use?

3. Changed the tranny fluid....what a bit**!

When you are doing the p/s flush, you suck out all the fluid, replace it with Vavolines synthetic, start the engine, turn left and right all the way twice, turn the engine off and do the process over 2 more times. Then add the Lucas P/S Stop leak toping off with more p/s fluid.
If you don't do this at least 3 time, the bulk of the old fluid will not be replaced.
Dex Cool is the right product.
