Hey Reg- you're going to hear some good advice from a lot of guys how to clean your system out, too. If the previous owner was using crappy fuel, you will want to do whatever they say to have the carbon build-up removed.

Hey Guys, just got back from the shop...hopefully you can tell me its not as expensive as it sounds. Looks like the previous owner didn't do alot of maintenance on it so while your reading through if you could also let me know about treatments and recommended fluid changes, would appreciate it.
I think we diagnosed the knocking, sounds like the bearings in the idle pully are bad, put the stethoscope on it and you can clearly here it. Anyone know how big a job that is to fix?
Onto the fun stuff, let me know if you think that I should start new thread
Valve covers are leaking...have done this before but not on this car, looks like you need to pull the entire top off to get to them, might be more complicated than that so please let me know your thoughts.
There is a clunking sound coming from the torque converter when you put it in reverse (any other gear is fine) but its seems to be caused by the play in the front drive shaft (which looks new). Not sure how much your supposed to have but you can clearly rotate it about an inch or so. Rear shaft has a little play but not much
Looks like there are leaks around the torque converter, looks difficult to get to everything not sure how big a job it is.
Leaking around the rear shaft where it connects to the axle again not sure how hard it is to do this.
Good news it I also found out it has new shocks on it (Bilstein) and a new exhaust.
Any help or thoughts again are appreciated.

ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK...but this is the way I've done it twice without problems and without throwing any codes.
#1 Get 2 bottles of Seafoam (one for the intake, one for the gas tank) and some vacuum tubing (not sure the diameter, maybe around 5/32"???), I just used some oxygen tubing from my work. Have a pair of needle-nose pliers in hand.
#2 Locate the port you will hook into (look on the passenger side of intake, there are 3 hoses running in, you want the one on the bottom, underneath the brake hose with the red washer. Unplug that bottom plug with your pliers, and attach your vacuum tubing to that port.
#3 Start the engine
#4 Using needle-nose pliers to clamp the hose and control the flow of liquid into the intake, SLOWLY SLOWLY SLOWY stick the open end of your vacuum tubing into the bottle of Seafoam. The vacuum from the engine will draw the Seafoam into the intake.
#5 TAKE YOUR TIME drawing the liquid into the intake until all of the fluid from the can is gone (should take at least 5 minutes to empty the can, I took longer, because I was terrified to lock my engine). During this process, you'll notice the engine will sputter and will start to smoke. Do not add so fast that you kill the engine, that is a very bad thing

#6 Once you have TAKEN YOUR TIME drawing the Seafoam in, and all the liquid from the can is gone, shut the engine off and let it sit for 30 MINUTES.
#7 Pour your second bottle of Seafoam into the gas tank (you can do this before you start if you want)
#8 After the 30 minutes is up, start the engine up. It will probably struggle a bit, but just let it go, don't rev the engine while trying to start it up. Once it's up an running, take it out and drive it like you stole it. It should SMOKE like crazy so my advice is to do this at night, or sometime when your neighbors aren't around
