What plugs are you installing, how many miles on your engine and will you also be replacing the plug wires?
One thing you can do is remove the air intake hose from the filter to the t/body to give you a better shot at the plugs, us a 3/8 th." drive and don't forget to put some anti-sieze on the plug threads before installing.

I'm not sure if the wires have been replaced or not because I just bought the car 5 months ago. Is there a way to see if the original wires have been replaced just by looking at the markings or labels on the wire, or even the color? Assuming the PO replaced with aftermarket wires, not the same exact wires as factory. thanks.

If you have compressed air access, back off the plugs a turn then blow out the plug well with air so if there is any debris it doesn't fall in to the engine, or get knocked in when reinstalling the plugs.
Be careful what anti-seize you use, not all are as electrically conductive as others.
I've been using Bostic Never-Seez for about 30 years and swear by it.
