Squeaking New front driveshaft
Hello all, got a new drive shaft from a well known vendor. Put it on and I get a very slight squeak (small bird chirp/squeak) when slowing down, like stopping at a light or rolling though a parking lot. No other noises during acceleration etc. Any suggestions what it could be? Rather not pull the drive shaft and return it, too much work. I greased all the zerks, though the front most one (angled at 45* within the joint) I can't get a good seal on the zerk, so it's squeezing out at the zerk, on contacting the company they said the joints come pregreased. Anywho, ideas what it could be. How to fix it without having to return?
Thanks

Where is the centering ball, front or back of the drive shaft?

Yea greased, before and after.... Only zerk I can't get to is within the forward most joint, comes out from the middle of the joint at a 45 degree angle. I ordered a needle tip for my greasy gun - hope it works. I'm not sure if by DS has a zerk fitting for the centering ball, I'll check with the manufacturer.
