starter replacement
my daughters starter took a crap today 2000 dII. I will have to say it was about the easiest things i have done on these trucks. about 45 minutes to take out and you dont have to unbolt the exhaust flange..... and that was in my driveway.. i could imagine if i had a dealer lift and there tools...about 20 minutes .... no wonder we all hate the dealer and above all the idiots who designed these piles...
yeah but the real question is, is it a starter or something else? Thats the real trick, to diagnose the right part before throwing expensive parts in. Something alot of DIYer and even techs make the mistake of.
