New member here. Thanks for all the valuable knowledge I've already acquired from the forum. My steering has a bunch of play and doesn't return to center. I'm replacing my steering box with a good low mileage one. Anything else I need for the install other than new fluid? Any gaskets or seals? Thanks in advance!

 

You shouldn't need any seals or anything. It's a pretty straightforward job on most trucks. I'm not sure about Rovers?? I don't think I've ever done one.

 

Should replace pipe o-rings. LH lower illustration of pdf.

Thanks! I don't need to remove the coolant rail in the pdf, do I? Is that illustration for a different repair?
