Steering Wobble

RE: Steering Wobble
My 99 disco II (160k miles) has recently started having this problem as well. It seems to be mainly after hitting a bump so my first thought is shocks. I looked around under the truck and it looks like the bushings are cracked. I looked online for a bushing kit but found nothing for 99 and up IIs.I guess I have to buy each bushing seperatly? The wobble is only in the steering wheel. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to look first?

RE: Steering Wobble
Drnknmnky13,
Read my sections regarding suspension and steering at www.eurotekapg.com under technical info.
There can be a combination of worn components causing the wobble. Steering dampner, tie-rod ends, and Panhard rod bushings are a few of these.

RE: Steering Wobble
My 96 Disco also has a pretty serious wobble around 50mph, it also wobbles when I hit a hole, the higher the speed the more sreious the wobble. I am going to be getting my tires aligned, but if any of you guys that are experiencing this same problem find another problem area to look at, please tell me so I don't have to get too dirty.
Thanks
Nikki
