Default Still have the 3 Amigos

I have an 02 Disco with 150k, I was getting intermittent 3 Amigos. I don't have a Hawkeye Scan Tool so I took a risk and installed a Shuttle Valve because many sources said the Shuttle Valve is the cause 98% of the time. It was great for a week but today they came back.

What's the second most common cause of the Amigos?

Doing the Math, the cheapest Hawkeye Scan Tool, I saw was $400. I bought the Shuttle Valve on Ebay for about $55.00, I see wheel speed sensors online for $10 a piece. You could replace the shuttle valve and all the wheel speed sensors for around a $100.00 so your still better off then spending $400 on a Hawkeye Scan.

Any thoughts

I am running this product: Delphi DS150 Diagnostic Tool 2014.02V Equipment DS150E CDP Pro Without Bluetooth with keygen-US$53.99-obd2sale.com $54 on this site.
I don't remember where I got mine last year but I paid more than that. SuperSport on this forum has contributed a lot as far as software ease of installation here:

Sometimes a bad wheel sensor is related to a worn out hub. That will cost as much as the Hawkeye. There's a scan tool made by terrafirma which is like $200. Cheap and guys say it works really well.

When you replaced the shuttle valve, did you do the modification described in the sticky?
Replacing the shuttle valve by itself will not rectify the problem, the problem is the connection from the shuttle valve to the abs wiring and can be corrected using the option b mod.

Does performing Option B cause the truck to not have ABS? Or does the ABS still operate as normal?

It does not stop anything from working, you are just bypassing the connection that is defective in the abs module. It is not usually the shuttle valve itself that is defective but the connection inside the abs. The shuttle valve sends a signal to the control module along with wheel sensors, etc. then the control module regulates the operation of the abs, traction control etc. You basically will wire the shuttle valve directly to the wire loom coming out of the abs, one of the wires of the two shuttle valve wires will go to the ground(black wire that comes out of the ABS, right below the multi-wire harness) and the other will go to the yellow/green wire that is in the multi-wire harness. It does not matter which wire from the shuttle valve goes to the ground and which wire goes to the yellow green, since they are only like on/off switches and are not powered.
