Still ignition- and/or fuelprob D2 -01
I couldn't find the thread I used a few weeks ago regarding a jerking issue I have.
As you all recommended, I changed the wires to Magnacore 8mm (started with Britparts, then tried Lucas and now finally...), coils (genuine Bosch, I tried Valio aswell) and sparks (I tried them all, now I have Platinum sprks). I already have regasked everything... twice. no leaks has been detected and I checked every pipe I could find. I also tried to plug ventilation to the heads.
I bought the car in boxes since the last owner started a headgasket change which he could'nt follow through. So I changed them, went througt the heads, changed tha cam and lifters at the same time.
Beside that I have changed the O2 sensors, fuelpump, checked the pipes and much more. Still it doesn't run ok, it misses on cyl 8 according to the fault codes (sometimes cyl 2 & 6, but just one or to times while cyl 8 counts 2-300) and I can see it while running the car on live data.
I tried another MAF that I have in my other D2 (yes, same numbers) without any change. The only thing I can think of is the TPS, perhaps? Compressiontest is spot on and extremly even...
It starts perfectly, but I notice that the engine misses out every ones i a while. When driving, I notice a loss of power and sometimes I have to jerk the trottle to get more power. It misfires when accelerating alot. Feels as fuel/air ratio is of? It runs a little bit better when it's warm. Even if the weather is a bit colder now (here in Sweden) it's no difference.
Any ideas?

Consider the cam position sensor (may have been loosened during engine work) and the TPS. Info from RAVE include for each. Also info on misfire monitoring sequence used by ECM. Also, if you are getting codes related to ABS, this could impact vehicle speed signal; which is computed from an average of the wheel sensors.
I'll check the codes first thing tomorrow.
Petrol is 14.85 Sek/liter ($ 2.19/liter or if you prefer, $8.30/gallon). When I fill her up I normally (not now when she's giving me troubles) pats her on the fender and say: "You worth it, honey".

Well... I changed the TPS today and also the vacuumconnection to the purgevalve that was a bit on the loose end. Absolute nada reaction, still running very rough. In desperation I tested a new product I was recommended to clean the injectors and plenum, no real difference of cause.
I erazed the codes and drove for a while and got the normal codes plus a few, misfires on cyl. 5,6,7 & 8. It's normally just cyl. 8. I hope to get my Hawkeye back tomorrow so I can give you the numbers on the codes and run it in realtime.
Well, I normally fix the most troublesome problems, but now I'm running out of ideas...
