Question Strange behaviour of my Discovery 1 l.1998

Hello

I bought Discovery 1 last week, so I doNT know if this is usually for it.
I have next problem:
At low speed is driving normal(to 30km\h). But when I go more approx. 80km\h, the steering wheel has some sort of delay. When I go in a turn, I have to turn my steering wheel 2s before.
I doNT know what cause this problem.

Thank you for your answer and I am sorry for my bad English

You need to remember that this is a big heavy SUV and it will not respond like a car.
But your problem does not sound normal.
Take it to a suspension shop and have your tie rods and the pit man arm on the steering box looked at as well as the steering box.
Do this TODAY, steering is nothing to mess around with as your life and the life of others depends on you being able to steer.

You need to have, as Spike has mentioned, all the steering checked starting with the shaft from the steering wheel to the gear box and then thru the rest of the system.
Do this ASAP.
