I am pretty sure that you wont have brake lights when doing that. Just FYI to anyone that does that.

I did finally discover why my F21 fuse was blowing. It was due to a wiring harness that runs alongside the transmission housing that had some exposed wires. Anytime the wire touched the housing, the fuse could blow. This thread explains it. There was a good picture of it that appears to have been removed.
