So...I have been grumpy that my rear side windows were not defogging when I activate the rear defogger.

Was going through the RAVE manual to figure out the electrical layout so I could trouble shoot and found out that those elements in the windows is for the stereo antenna and not heating elements.

You are correct. I thought that same thing when I got mine, but noticed they didn't defog the windows. Then I concluded that was the radio antenna.

So THATS where the antanna is. I'd always wondered, but not enough really to actually check.

Yep, you're correct. Many assume they are heated and make the same mistake. If you want to demist the rear windows just open the drivers window a tad as it's mainly due to condensation.
